Spire Visual - The bird’s eye view representation of storylines as they grow.

Genesis Texts - The first text based part of a storyline. These are visualized as eight orbs attached to the main circle in the Spire Visual. Each genesis text is represented by 100 semi-fungible mints.

Chapters - Text based lore continuing on from each genesis text. Competition winners will have their lore minted and represent its chapter. Each chapter is represented by 100 semi-fungible mints.

Echoes - media expressions of a Genesis Text or Chapter. These are visualized as yellow dots linked to Genesis Texts and Chapters in the Spire Visual. Each echo is represented by 100 semi-fungible mints.

SpireDAO - Our central team, owners of the Spire.lol URL and the Spire legal entity.

Spire Owner - The admin. The team member(s) from the project that decides on Approved Submissions, and Contest winners. Necessary to continue the Chapter Flow and Echo Flow; if the Spire Owner does not carry out these two actions, competitions come to a halt.

Creator - Anyone submitting to contests.

Genesis Text Owner - Any wallet containing a Genesis Text NFT.

Chapter Owner - Any wallet containing a Chapter NFT.

Echo Owner - Any wallet containing an Echo NFT.

Treasure - a semi-fungible NFT from the Trove Marketplace, from the TreasureDAO project.

Contests (aka competitions) - Chapters & Echoes are created as a result of completed Contests. Each contest lasts for 7 days, and requires a minimum of 8 Approved Submissions. If there are not enough Approved Submissions, the Contest continues indefinitely.

Approved Submissions - The list of Contest entries that the Spire Owner is considering choosing as a winner. When the contest closes for submissions, Approved Submissions are published on the Spire.lol website. After a winner is chosen, losing Approved Submissions will be soulbound to a user’s wallet, unlockable for a fee.

Mints - Any on-chain Spire asset. The three types of mints are Genesis Texts, Chapters, and Echoes. Each Spire asset consists of 100 semi-fungible tokens. Genesis Texts govern the storyline’s progression, Chapters govern their own Echoes. Echoes have no governance capabilities.

Chapter Flow - The competition chronology from one Chapter Contest to the next. Like a clock, this flow moves clockwise, requiring participation from the Spire Owner and Creators.

Echo Flow - The competition chronology from one Chapter’s Echo Contests to the next. Like a clock, this flow moves clockwise, requiring participation from the Spire Owner and Creators.
